We took a drive around town last night and ended up with a few photos of homes nicely decorated for the holidays. I had noticed how warm it was on Sunday evening (high 40s) but it was too late to go out. Last night, it was still warm, so we took off right after eating. Good thing, too, as the cold north winds came up as we were finishing. Today it’s cold, windy and has been snowing lightly all day.
Larger versions (and a few more as well) of the photos are available on flickr.
While I don’t wallow in sadness, all the lights in the world won’t brighten this particular day, the 6th anniversary of mom’s passing.
Fare you well, fare you well, I love you more than words can tell …
